Have you ever gotten injured by food?

I opened up the freezer door a few times in my life and and a big bag of food almost fell out on my foot. Several different times, but most of the time I manage to miss it thank goodness. Have you been injured by food before this way? By what? I think frozen food is the worst to be injured by cause it gets heavy and is solid as a rock. 
I would be angry if it happened. I have gotten hit with the door too I think but accidentally. Makes me feel like a dummy, too. LOL. Ow.

A friend of mine after cutting pieces of my five pound gummy bear thought it would be funny to throw the head (which remained uncut) at me while it was frozen. (It was a pretty cold day at the time)
All I want to say is that the coldness is difficult to tolerate.
And why was it frozen? I thought it was candy?

Firstly I think you are very accident prone, secondly, fix the way you put food in your refrigerator. :)
I remember eating fish when I was young and then I suddenly swallowed one of its bones and it got stuck to my throat and it hurt so much. :(

I just spent 4.5 days in bed with food poisoning from the mayo at Burger King on the Whopper! Day after christmas...didn't want to cook or clean anymore so we took a little ride to town and got a Whopper....USED to be my fav burger of all times, but now....won't be back there for quite some time! Injured my insides!

Wow, I have heard other getting sick on the food from there as well. A good internet friend of mine said a while back that he got sick on the burgers there and won't ever go back. I don't blame him. I swear everytime I eat at this other restuarant I get ill too so I don't go there too much if at all anymore. I stopped ordering one thing that made me sick twice after eating it.

several times since my childhood, i have been harmed by food. Mostly of fish bones that I would swallow accidentally. What was so bad was when fish bone pierced just in between two teeth and toothpick and dental floss could not take it off. It took almost four days till I was relieved.

Always seem to be things being taken out of the freezerm, or even fridge and falling on me. I remember once in college, my roomate was taking food out, and hit me accidently with a steak.
Try explaining to people how you have a black eye, and they dont believe your story.

I have never met this kind of situation before,but a few days ago when I was having pineapple,my lip started bleeding heavily.I was astonished,and I stopped eating to see if it was caused by the pineapple,and it turned out it was true.I am still wondering how why,do you know?

Wow the pineapple made your lip bleed? That is quite unusual. Did you feel something cutting it or perhaps do you think it could have been an allergic reaction? Sometimes allergies have a wierd way of reacting upon us. I get some mouth sores when I used to have more food sensivities. I hope that never happens again. I would be afraid of eating pineapple again. Ouchie.

Oh yes but not too badly. I had a lady I did child care for get really hurt though. She went to get a frozen cake out and it came sliding out of the freezer too fast and hit her in the head. She had to have stiches and was knocked out for a bit.

I was frying chicken once and I guess I wasn't paying attention...the grease popped and got me right in the eye..I screamed like a maniac and ran out the kitchen smack into a wall..I was rubbing my eye while I hit the wall so I ended up poking myself in the eye to make matters worse..lol..its funny now but that hurt!
