Can India Government Or Courts Allow Criminals To Be Untrepresented?

I am disturbed with the recent gang rape incident that happened in India. No doubt, all the rapists and eventually murderers, 6 of them are arrested and waiting to be charged in court. But, due to the public outcry through mass public pressures, the lawyers in India have banded together against defending any of the arrested rapists c.u.m murderers where one of them happens to be only 16 years of age. Their reason being that they do not want to slow down the court and delay the delivery of justice. Now, my understanding of justice is that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. No doubt, the arrests is in every way done according to the penal code of law of India. The criminals are read of their crimes and the cases for each of them have been built. No matter what it is these criminals though are arrested according to witness accounts and even with testimony of the deceased, still deserve their day in the country's court to stand trial for what they have done. From the news, the prosecution have already built up the case and to the extent accumulated more than 1000 pages of documents. Yet, lawyers are not willing to come forward to represent any of these rapists and murderers. With such a stance, I wonder if the court's legal department could get any representatives for these criminals. I am not supporting these disgusting criminals but I think we need to be sure that the 6 of them are actually who they are - GUILTY of this heinous crime. The country and most of all, the parents and siblings of the deceased needs to know if the law and its' enforcers have done the right thing. The lawmakers need to ensure justice did not commit a false arrest, play acting to appease the crowd and put innocents into harms way. As much as I feel for the victim (deceased's boyfriend), deceased's family and deceased, I wish from the bottom of my heart that India authorities especially the law will not succumb to external pressures to do what is right and fail justice by not delivering. Most of all, make the deceased's death in vain. What do you think? What is your take on this? Ref: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-20896031

I seriously do not know why they are causing delay so much... These crimes are not even worthy of punishing like this..they should be shoot at sight or made to feel pain the same way that poor girl felt.

And you think this will solve the problem once and for all? I do not think so.
