I have felt this for a few days now, it's hard to explain. This thribbing, stabbing pain right in the middle. If I push on it or lay on my stomach putting preassure near the middle of the breast bone it goes away.
It comes and goes, and I am sure if it were a heart attack it would of killed me by now.

This does not sound like a heart attack at all. It could be the beginning of appendicitis or gall bladder problem or just plain old trapped gas. But you should get it checked out immediately just to be sure that there is nothing wrong. Best of luck and let us know how you are doing

I think it is more gastric and you are Experiencing a heartburn. I'd take antacids for that. However it can also be emotional. Something must have happen to you that you can't understand or accept and it hurts you and your body is reacting to it. You can talk about it with other people and it will relieve you somehow. Otherwise it's best to seek medical help. Take care. I hope you feel better.

Well I get pains in my chest when people emotionally hurt me and that's that. It feels like my feelings want to explode like a shaken bottle of cola and I'm holding itin my chest. That's when I get emotional pains. I'm not really sure as to how or why it happens. Well its different for everyone anyway.
I see you have iron infusions, if it really is a heart problem then you really need your regimen, maybe you can ask your doctor for something else that will help you relieve your other symptoms... Btw, I'm glad you're still alive to be able to respond to my comment. Get well soon.

does it hurt to breathe? there are lots of lung/flu things going around these days. yesterday on the news they were saying to not go to the emergency if you had something like that because the wait time is almost something like 24 hours but you may want to see your family doctor. hope you feel better soon.

They say that if the pain in one's chest goes through at your back then one has probably has a heart disease. What I mean is that you have also back pains then it is a sign of having heart attack. That is what my mother said because my mom has a heart disease and that was her doctor said too. Be careful if that persist you have to consult a doctor. Just a suggestion.

This is still something you should be concerned about, and get to a doctor to check out. Pains in the chest a lot of times can often be just stress, but it could also be something else, and the only guarantee is to get it checked out, and probably have some Tests run as well.

I would go to your nearest emergency room and seek a doctor. At our hospital our emergency room is opened all night long for patients, I don't see how yours can close from 9am-6am? impossible. What if there is severe accidents etc? So strange. IF it doesn't get any better though I would go soon as they open, you never want to mess around with chest pain, could be nothing but you can never be sure. Hope it goes away for you soon though.

Symptoms like this should be referred to a doctor, if you would ask for my honest opinion. It could be a respiratory disease developing since it's located in the chest area, but to be really sure, i think ASAP visit to the doctor would give you a clear picture of what's bothering you.

Chest pains in the middle, they say, could be a symptom of heart attack. You have to see a doctor and have it assessed so you can be sure. Don't wait for it to get worse.
