Oh yes my husband and I have had plenty of those kind of accquaintences... They are very annoying to say the least.
They seem to come around when they need or want something then when you have nothing and need help their no where to be found! I know all about it... When my husband got a little bit of money everyone would come over and hang out. Once the money was gone, so were they...
It is very hard now to find a "true" friend, if you do your lucky and you should hold onto it and treasure that friendship forever!

Hi LovingmyBabies, thank you for your comment, I appreciate it, because what you said is very true. I think that friends are very hard to come by and if you so happen to meet them then you must hold on tight. I think that people oughtta found out the true meaning of being a friend go look it up in the dictionary, and once they got it down , then they need to come around and reveal what they learn, put it into action, because love is action and that is what's missing from so called friends these days. Thanks for your good response!!!:)

Isn't Facebook full of that kind of people? They just want to score more friends on their list. You are no more then number to them. And in the real life I can tell I met some of that kind of people but there are fairly easy to detect so I'm doing my best to avoid them.

i think I can identify a lot of those people in my life and I honestly try not to spend too much time with them anymore. Its just that often i know and i can feel they only regard me as friend because they want to have many friends... but as to the real essence of the word "friendship" that they do not have and is unable to say.

Till today i had all such friends, who just came to me when they needed me badly. When i was in pain or hurt i never found any of my friends coming to me and helping me. I have now stopped making any friends now. I prefer living alone rather than being friends with wrong and selfish people.

Yup! There are people who just try to be friends with everyone else but they do not realize that being friend in words should be more than that. I do not want to be choosy on whom to be friends with, but with people who pretends to be nice all the time, we should be really on guard.
