Vices or Love for Family? / myLot

I wrote this based on my personal experience starting from my High School days up to present. I started my drinking and smoking habits when I was in High School. First, I would like to ask my friends their personal opinion about vices. Is smoking and drinking are really considered vices? If so, or if not, how would my friends relate drinking and smoking to love for family? I need your opinion on this.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well it is very disturbing to know that u got into drinking and smoking at such a tender age. I have always felt that adult stage is a stage where one has to be cautious every time and should always stay away from all those habits that have potential risks for them selves. I think drinking and smoking can never become vices and they are mere external influences and this has to be understood properly by every one. What say?

Thanks for comments. I still believe that something is wrong with the drinking habits. What should be the limitations and should the drinking be part of our lives?
