Stray Bullet Victim

Almost everyday the story of Stephanie Nicole always flash on different TV channel due to the stray bullet hit her head on new year celebration.
It is now common history in our country every new year. Even myself I am afraid of such similar incident. The reason why I leave Manila and went home to Davao, it's because firecrackers are prohibited and no tendency on any stray bullet from lost fire arms.
If the whole Philippines strictly followed what Davao imposed for more than 10 years, no victims like Nicole happen.
For me better to stop this kind of tradition during new year or the should find ways to stop killing innocent individuals during new year. What do you think?

I am actually a stray bullet survivor and that thing happened last year, I forgot the month but then suddenly when it rains there are some tear drops that are falling from the ceiling of my bedroom. When I told my dad about it he approach our carpenter regarding that. Only the find out that it was the stray bullet of why there was a hole on the roof.

No I wasn't hit or anything. I didn't even know that there was stray bullet that fall on my roof not until the carpenter discovered it after weeks. I didn't even know when it did happened. We just discover the material then they told me to keep it. Though we have no plans of reporting it because it is going to be useless already as it is hard to detect the suspect.

Yeah I just hope everyone can follow what Davao City has done to their place to clean up and stop crime from escalating. The imposing of strict discipline has made this city famed from having a iron fisted City Mayor and so far this has made him stay long in his position as City Mayor and now Vice Mayor in the city having her daughter holding the mayor position.

Although I`m not particulary fond of fireworks, I think they can be fairly safe if the people in charge of them follow certain rules. But what I don`t understand is why mix a bullet from a pistol or rifle with fireworks. That is something very different. Please, do explain.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this incident. Hope the lost soul will RIP. I agree with you, we must stop this kind of unwanted tradition which killed an innocent life. This kind of life loss will spoil the celebration and every one will be sad due to such kind of incidents. Prevention is better than cure, so your Government must stop such kind of things and welcome the New year in a peaceful way

Even if philippines will follow there are such people that can't control if they do it every there occasion it just like a habits, we cant force nor stop them firing in anywhere even the pnp claims they cant stop it. For me the best thing to do is not to go outside in your house just watch tv or play some thing that will make you happy..

This is such a really sad news. New Year is suppose to be a season of hope and smiles. I am sure it will be very difficult to catch the criminal who did this. That is the reason why I do not get out much during New Year. I am always worried about this.
