...even though I am not really a religious person. I don't know but they are somewhat meditative in nature and I always want them to replayed at at least three times or to the point that I could suffer LSS from them. I even sometimes use them as seep songs to help me catch a few winks. But seriously,I feel in love with hymns in church service (not exactly the services themselves) and I guess vne now I'm downloading some to ease my way into sleep. Although sometimes I cannot understand the words (some are Latin,it's amazing that even with songs, there is something to comfort about this music. I don'tknwo about anybody I know that listen to the stuff that I do.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is absolutely great to hear about the influence of the religious hymns on you and i certainly believe that these hymns gives u ultimate peace of mind and body and takes u to a different world altogether where u feel like getting detached from the worldly affairs. Although i do not hear hymns like u do but whenever i get a chance i try to get involved and feel it.
What say?

Well, I guess that started because of regular church attending. Anyway, I got into more church music due to Youtube and other good instrumental music.

Yes, the rhythm is good and so is the message Though i have to confess that I am somewhat irritated that they chnage the arrangement recently. I mean, I could follow but I am more inclined to sing it. I need practice,I guess.

That's very interesting! I too like the hymns, but I am a firm believer and I also like chant and songs done in the latin, although I am not Catholic (but I do have it in my family roots).

I guess that kinda the only link that binds me to being an active churchgoer. I’m not really religious but i feel more for the music rather than ideology.

It makes it hard for me to sing along too...
