I could hardly sleep perhaps,I am both excited and jittery because this will going to be my first time to entertain people in our new house. I and my husband will celebrate our house blessing today.Normally,house blessing is celebrated together with bunch of relatives,friends,and neighbors but we decided to keep simple. A couple of friends are coming together with the priest and my parents. I will be preparing "Japchae", a Korean style glass noodles,Samyapsal and side dishes. My husband often tells me that my "Japchae" is out of this world and we can roll in dough if I make it for business. I hope my dishes will turn out well today.

A house blessing, that sounds nice. Is it like a "house warming?" The celebration of a newly purchased home? I hope your house blessing goes very well. I have never hear of Japchae, but they sound like they might taste really good

:) My close friends are waiting for my house warming party but I intended not to celebrate it because I wanted to be practical. In the Philippines,one of our traditions- especially if you are a Catholic- to have the newly purchased house blessed by a priest. Japchae is a Korean style glass noodles.Oh I should have taken a photo of it.

When I have something exciting going on the next day I know I have a hard time sleeping too, or if I am too nervous its the same thing...That does sound exciting! I wish for you to have a wonderful time and I hope everything goes well at your House Blessing. =)
