At what age did you stop growing taller?

I know everyone varies, but could there be a chance for a 16 year old female to still grow. My daughter is 16 and she is currently 5"3. I am 5"2 and my husband is 5"7. From what doctors have said over here, she is most likely done growing, but after asking around with some of my friends, I found out that a lot of their children continued to grow through college! One of my friend's daughters grew 4 inches in a year by drinking milk daily and sleeping 2 hours more each day. (She was 18 at the time) I was just curious to your own experience and opinions on this topic.

It is very doubtful that you daughter will grow much more. Usually a girl stops growing when she hits puberty. If there is a family genetic history where girls continue to grow into their late teens or up to 20, then she could still grow. However, given your height and your husbands height, I doubt that this is the case in your family. In my family, girls do grow until they are 19 or 20, but we are of Russian decent and have some very very tall women in our family. However, my half sister only made it to Maybe 5'. I do not see anything wrong with being 5'3'...at least she will be able to find pants that are long enough...I never can...
