I interview on Friday and he told me to cover my phone bills provided I get 20 property details to him every month. I said yes, without noticing it is the same company an agent used to hire me to do phone calls where at last when I resigned, he ask for compensation RM50. I quickly quit my decision and turn down the offer yesterday. What a small world.

It's good that you remembered your last lesson and learnt from it. If you can get 20 property deals to him, what is RM50? The company is too short-sighted over that amount of money.

Hi choiyee
He should be paying you for the phone calls made and not you have to food out from your pocket. Try avoid getting work/jobs that needs you to food out the bill first. These usually comes from stingy employers. It would be very hard for you to get back what you spent later on.

You did the exact same thing that I would have done in that kind of a situation. I would definitely tell the supervisors of a company that I would not be able to accept their offer if I've had any kind of an issue with any division of that company in the past.
I know that you are looking for a way to earn more money, but I also really feel that you made the best decision given the information that you already have about the company.
