petition for canada

My brother left for Canada last august.It is a good sign for us his siblings.How long would he have to wait before he can apply for another sibling's petition to Canada?I dont know any about it.His wife took him and kids,she is working there for d longest time.I am 34,can he take me to go there to look for job? On what visa type? On what procedures? thank u
