I used to love this as a kid and to this day I still have it for breakfast on the weekends when I am home. Is there something you love as a kid and still eat it to this day? It's not that hard to make just make sure you have enough cinnamon and sugar to cover it so it's not too sweet. Sometimes I over do it and have to remake it but I got it down packed now. My niece and nephew love cinnamon toast I presented it to them last weekend. We don't have any other breakfast foods in the house so this is what I am having this morning til I go shopping tomorrow. Just thought I'd share :)

Carrot cake! I have always loved it and every time I would have a birthday party as a kid, I would ask for it. The thing is, not many kids like it like I did haha. All they wanted was chocolate cake. It is still my favorite to this day. I need to learn how to make it.

I used to make Cinnamon toasts for my kids back then, but all the sugar could be bad for them. So I just rarely make them.

To be honest there is not except for the memory of an apple pie my granny always made. I made it too but somehow now it tastes different. My other granny always made breadpie, in memory it tasted great. I once tried it too (years ago) but I found it terrible so never tried it again. Must say that my taste did change through the years and I eat "worldwide" now. Also my diet has changed. We eat mainly fruit now and vegetables and trying to discover also new recipes made with it. Completely raw food is not possible for us yet. It's way too cold (outside and inside) so we do need something hot to eat as well (just cups of green and white tea won't do for us). Today I made some (small kind of) "donuts" filled with pumpkin and cinnaom. Except for marmelade I never made anything out of pumpkin before. They tasted great.

I loved to eat cold corn flakes every morning when I was a kid. I rarely had anything different. I remember the chicken on the box (do they still have a chicken on the box?) lol...When ever I eat corn flakes, it brings back those memories of me eating corn flakes every morning. I love cinnamon toast too. It goes really well with corn flakes. We're just about out of bread...again! So I'll need to pick some bread up before the week is over.

The only thing I could think of at the moment is Pop Tarts. When I was a kid, I always asked for them when we went shopping but now that I am an adult, I buy more than one box! I would say certain cereals I ate back then I still eat now but for some strange reason, all the cereal I used to eat back then tastes weird now...
