Cam the admin also be a regular user and earn online?

I was wondering about it because of a website that I am using lately. I am not sure about it, but it is my understanding that one of the admins is also a regular member like the rest of us. I mean that she also works on the site and earn from doing what all of us do! There re other administrators as well and to be honest, I haven't seen them being so active in the earning part but I guess they are. I am mot familiar with the system of earning sites, but I know that for this one, the admins are not the owners. What do you think about that?

I find nothing wrong with a member of the admin team being an active member of the site. As long as they are doing whatever is required to qualify for payout then the same should apply to them as anyone else. It would be an advantage because they would develop a better understanding of the site from both aspects, which should serve them well in the event of disputes of any kind. There is no reason why the owner should also participate.

It should be quite acceptable for an admin to be a member and either forgo the contests or simply not have their participation counted towards a contest. I do agree that there would be too much scope for abuse if they had the opportunity to win a contest.

Your point is correct, but I think that when someone has full access to the website there might be conflict of interest. They would get free upgrades etc so those additional benefits automatically make them different from the regular users. I am saying this, having in mine the contests for example with money prizes. In the terms and conditions of every contest, they state that members of the organizer company and their relatives are not allowed to participate.

Yes definitely in all sites like forums and chats there is always a moderator. I was once asked to br a moderator of the a certain chat site. Optichat. Being a moderator i will have the power to boot out abusive user and can see their ip address. However i refused the offer since there was no pay And besides. I might have problem with other users and besides i like to pissed o ther moderators too

haha So they wouldn't pay you to be a moderator? I thought that being and admin gives you some extra benefits on the site, like free upgreades etc, and extra profit of course!

Yes they can be. I've seen it on sites before. Though usually the admin, whether they be the owner of the site or just a moderator, usually puts the money they earn back into the site so in a way it goes right back to us.

I didn't know that this happens. I guess it must be for the best if he is an owner but as a moderator it would not be profitable to put the earnings back. Unless they are paid seperately!

Aren't admins paid for their work on the sites and for making sure that everything works properly?

I assume they can be.. I have another earning site and the adm. is there posting every single day. We even chat with him all the time. I love that. Feels like they really care about its members...

The same happens on the site that I am talking about as well! The admin also works like all the other members and earns from this. I am not sure if she is paid though for her admin work! Maybe she is just a member who took more responsibilities to support the site.

This depends on what online program an admin is rendering, sometimes there are sites that require people to administer their website to keep track on the activities and manages the site most especially in putting up the information and the site rules implementation. However, there are also site admins that owns the site so, basically they do profit from it and they don’t need any worker to do monitoring because the owners themselves are the site admins. Another, there are freelancing jobs I have seen on freelancing sites that are hiring experts in internet which do site administration, such workloads I had noticed are in the field of social media managers, search engine managers, and site managers which basically has the same workloads in site controlling.

Thank you! You know a lot about websites and this is very useful information! I am not sure if there is any way to know which is the case in every website but I guess that most sites today are in the second. The site that I had in mind has hired admins probably because it's very developed and also has a support team etc.
