I and my two aunts together with my aunt's husband are going to Ilo ilo City
this coming Lenten season. I do not know if my brother will be coming too. He
wants to come with us. I just want to share this excitement about out trip
because it will be my first time to go to a farther place. I've never been gone to
Visayans region. My Tito said it is beautiful in their place and for sure we'll gonna
have fun there. He is very eager for us to come because of the thought that he
really misses his family, us, because it's been less than 20 years since he come
home here in our place. But even if he lived that far from us, he has something
to prove and he became very successful businessman in Ilo ilo. He said he wants
to share his blessings with us and so he'll gonna shoulder all our fare and
expenses and that is a very good news with us. Three months to go.

Nice plans! Any family trip is sure to be so fun, although there are some hitches but still it's fun. I have never been to Iloilo and now I'm even more miles away from there. I sure like to sample and taste the local fares and experience some local festivals. The only province (or city) in the Visayan region that I have been to is Cebu. And Boracay, if that counts.

Iloilo is a nice place. Have just been there actually for a few hours. You should try going to Bacolod. That is one place that I truly fell in love with. It is only about an hour or so by boat from Iloilo.
