Hey, there, fellow cat lovers! I am wanting to get a kitten that is family friendly. Now, I know that most are, but I want a kitten that will stay a smaller cat and doesn't shed as bad. What are my options?

well, a short haired cat still sheds but not as bad as a long haired one, only because the hair is shorter. A Sphynx is the the only hairless cat, but they do take a bit more care because of it. And they are rare, so they are expensive... http://www.petfinder.com/cat-breeds/Sphynx http://sphynxcats.hubpages.com/hub/Sphynx-Cats a Rex might be a somewhat better breed to get, but again, they are expensive. Personally, I would go find a nice adult cat so you know how big she's going to get (females are generally smaller) and they are just as loving and affectionate...

Thank you. I didn't know females were generally smaller.

Good one . Go for it. I too have a kitten . Its not adopted one they come to our home every day and we give them something to eat and also milk to drink. Its good option overall.

It really depends on your location, if your home is full of cloth like furniture’s, then probably hairs will stick on such furnishings, but if you have a leatherette furnishing, then you can get a furry cat.
