Many of my friends are abroad and i also keep travelling for most part of the time and no where i get chance to talk to them directly or through phone. So the only option is facebook and twitter and these are good and i also like to catch new friends through this medium. What do you think about the extreme use of these kind of sites in the long run

hi,
i could say that having a Facebook account is really good for us because we could have chance to talk or to chat with our long lost friends even classmates,i actually have many classmates who are in abroad and because of this we still continue our friendship.

Personally, for catching up with friends you have not seen in a long time, it is an awesome thing. I know I have been able to reconnect with people I have not seen in over 30 yrs, and was able to see some of them this last Summer at a class reunion. It is also a Great way to meet others and gain New friends as well. I love the ideas and advancements of the internet.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is a great idea and that is the only reason why social networking sites were created so that we can stay with our friends who are also far away from us. i am glad to know that u are in touch with all your friends and i am pretty sure it will bolster your relationship with them.
What say?
