Hi toni! Nice to see you on board. I try to be here on mylot as when possible. It has always been great pleasure and fun here to connect with friends through their discussions. At times I remain pre-occupied with my off line and office commitments during those periods, I miss mylottings. However, as soon as I get an opportunity to come here even for half an hour, I do not miss it. Have a grt day.

Well, there are times I have not been able to be here as often as I would like due to Medical issues, or being so busy, and it does seem awkward when I first come back as their might be people here who have forgotten about me, and people who have left. Or then there are the newbies here. But no matter what this continues to be a Great place to be, and one I would miss if I had to leave.

Many come and many go. I have not been away per se but I too miss many myLotters who used to be regular participants here and now I come across many new names. They too will I am sure with time become as absorbing as those who have been here for a while. I noticed your absence.

you can always tap your old friends here. how long have you been gone here. i experienced being away for three months and i don't feel that feeling you mentioned. the mylot community members are always accommodating and as friendly as ever.i also know people here who comment that often in my posts and i appreciate their efforts. this is why i love mylot much!

I am on my fifth year here so must like a lot of stuff about our mylot.Yes a few days back I had problems getting on too and a lot of run time errors bu t seems okay now.I believe when you see some of your old friends here you will get back into uour groove. lol

Well, speaking of Mylot, the answer to your final question, in my case is NO. I work on Mylot every day (except when I can not because maybe I'm traveling), and every day I see my friends who post new threads more or less of my interest. I fact, I mainly use the computer, just to work on Mylot. The only thing I noticed is that in the last days, the site has a delay in payment. I do not know if this is an isolated case, or relates to everyone. You could you tell me something about it?

The last payment i had was when i was still in the Philippines maybe in September. I understand why you're here every day. You don't have a job to keep you busy. You have the luxury of time to be on mylot.

I don't notice the delay in payment, maybe because I was paid only twice last year.

Hi friend, welcome back. Some times we will feel in this sort if we are away from the site. Day by day a lot of members are joining here as well as some members taking break from this site, so we will miss some friends and find some new friends, it is quite common in mylot. Yes those situations did happen to me sometimes esepcially when I changed my apartment.You said you just need to work 5 hours a day and four times a week,wow,is that a full time job I mean regular job?If yes then you are so lucky and I wish I can find some kind of job like you,because I often work overtime and really feel tired.

Yes it's a full time job. The government doesn't allow foreign people to work more than 20 hours in a government school. I'm an English foreign language teacher.

I haven't really felt like this as I wasn't active back then when I joined this site 5 years ago and wasn't really close with anybody. I have just recently become more active on this site last year and have become close with a few people on here. I did feel lost at first when I was more active on here but now I feel at home again. I mylot in the mornings before work and then an hour at night when I get home just to wind down from a days of work. Hope you feel comfortable here again and can make some new friends.

Years ago there were lots of fun here and excitement. Almost all the discussions were new to me and there were a lot of humours being exchanged! But now I see the newbies starting discussions that were discussed years ago. Now i understand why active members here started to leave as well.

Welcome back here Toni. So what could be the problem why it's too slow for you to connect here. Maybe it's your internet connection , toni. Anyway, even if we can't find our old friends here now everyday, some of them would once and a while would up in a discussion. But how i wish just like you that the old friends can be as active as before here. This is indeed one site that we can always go back, to express whatever our situation is now.

Sometimes the friends we meet will disappear. Its hard when that happens cause we have to find new one's who we relate to in the site. The good thing is there are all kinds of people here so just try to get back into it as you were just beginning.

Unfortunately none of us do. Its just a part of life tha twe have to work out. Friendhsis can hurt us too if we're not careful. I tend not to trust easily, these days.
