It's a normal reaction to a kids that are very close to their parents. It seems they will miss you badly. But when they grow you will miss them back because they are also busy attending something related to their doings and undertakings either from school or from their job related travels

See, how much a separation causes the children, jazel. Funny , that your children misconstrued it as such. Maybe you were in an angry tone while you were saying it, so they thought you are leaving your husband and them for good!

Hmmm maybe too many fights or arguments have been happenning lately, that the kids start thinking that mom and dad's marriage could be in trouble! But it's good you had the chance to explain. Hehehe. It would have been a great problem should they have not been informed on the circumstance. Wow, you're visiting my home city and I am sure you'll love it. Do enjoy! Have a great mylot experience ahead!!

Well, I think it is normal for children to feel the lack of her parents. I do not know how old your children years, but from what I understand they are still children. But I hope they will understand your situation, and above all that you will soon be back there with them, to hug them.

Kids mostly cried up when anyone from mom and dad was going away from them. It's psychological effect. They cry to stop you emotionally. In this situation try to make them understand that you are not going or come's in a few minute. Don't shout at that time because they are innocence. What you did is the best the one.

I remember crying whenever I'm left by my mother back when I was first sent to school. I believed I only attended class once after seeing that I couldn't be left alone. I don't know how I overcame that but now it's the opposite because I'd very much prefer my parents not with me all the time. I guess that's part of growing up and my experience as well, growing up in an environment where I usually choose to be independent. Anyway, I guess children will always feel sad when they believe they will be left by their parents. I do hope that your children understands the situation though.

hahaha and that will eventually change too when you get a bit older and have kids.. I for now want my parents around, probably because they are not getting younger and i want to spend my time with the most now.

You know how kids are. They are all to clingy to their moms. And as kids, their world revolves around mom.

It's hard to be separated from our kids. I'd imagine your kids being a lot younger than mine. Mine are teenagers and it is still hard for me when they are away, like right now, eventhough I know where they are exactly on vacation.
