There is an adage, You travel everyday by train or bus with a ticket and no checking takes place and the day you choose not to buy, checking will take that day only. In Delhi, it's not the duty of conductor to go to your place and ask you to buy aticket. It's our responsibility to go and buy tickets. So, some people choose not to buy tickets and they may escape like this. But on a bad day, checking is going on and they may fall in a trap and than have to shell out nearly Rs 200(fare amounting upto 20 days). So, it's better to buy ticket in Delhi. So Guys, have you been caught on the very first day you didn't buy a ticket?

Poor fellow, but we should all buy tickets. But sometimes we are in such a hurry, that we doesn't have time to buy tickets. But in metro, it's nearly impossible to do that.

This is easy when travelling by bus for a short trip, but not for long trips since there's a checker coming on board on mid way. For trains, you cannot cheat here in our country because you cannot pass or enter the gate without inserting the train card ticket.

When bad luck is chasing you, every thing goes awry. Just to avoid Rs 5, you may end up giving Rs 200. Whenever we don't buy tickets, we remains in panic till we reach our destination.

I have tried doing this, because it really scares me off with a fear that the ticket checker might catch me and take lumpsum money from me and take to the police station. My friends always do this. They travel without buying a ticket almost everyday. I really feel great about their gutts to do that, because it is so risky.

Traveling without tickets is very risky indeed. There are hell of a people who daily travels in local train without buying tickets. I don't know from where they bring so much of guts. I don't have it, I will never travel without tickets. It's as simple as that.

In my country, we can be a chance passengers. We can pay it in the bus, even not having tickets from the booth. So it is not troublesome and there is no issue.

Hehe my first time riding bus and tramp here in Romania were without tickets. I was with Romanian friend then with my husband so it was ok, but of course they told me not to do it on my own which I don't have any plan anyway. The next time I rode tramp I already bought reloadable card so everything was smooth sailing.

I didn't do that, even once, I always have the tickets to get on the bus or train, because i think it is our responsibility to do that.
