I don't know why my daughter sometimes in midnight get up and walk while sleeping.Sometimes I caught her she is about to pee in our trashcan which she think is a toilet and about to Pee there.Sometime she goes to our closet and open it and about to pee too. Last time my sister see her she stand up in our door good thing it's lock. She is 7 years old. and whenever I told that to her every morning. She doesn't know what happened. What do you think is the cause of this.I only know We only have one member in our family and that is my father who have done the same thing. but not while sleeping but only when HE is too much drunk of alcohol. What shall I do? .

I noticed that in all occasions they had something to do with urinating. It must be her body wanting to be relieved of pee. I suggest that you talk to your daughter about it and let her pee to before sleeping to avoid the same incident from happening again. Help must be given now before it becomes a habit of hers.

I think it is a disorder. It might be about time you seek professional help because it can be dangerous.

good day fearlessgara, i once witness a sleep walker and that is my brother but he just did it once. however during those times, as i remember, my mom consulted a pediatrician asking some advice. hence, my brother was only 5 years old when that incident happened. the doctor give some medications but i can't remember it anymore. perhaps in your situation, better to ask advice from a medical expert or a pediatrician if still applicable so you can what is better for your daughter. i guess, nothing to worry on her, only you just need to adhere to the advice which will be given by the doctor.

I can still remember my sister, when we were in elementary she do the same thing. She is a sleep walker, but it is only a while. My father is always alert not to have an accident, since we sleep in the second floor. She might fall in the stairs and so steep.
