He called and invited me to dinner...

So the online friend i met in Bangkok in this discussion http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2735768.aspx?p=1#2_24227248 called today and asked me out for dinner. His phone call was a shock to me as I've already forgotten about him already and his non-existence to my busy life.
But he called, asked me why i never responded to any of his messages and why did i kept ignoring him. He then asked if he could see me again. I said i'm not available.
So this is the guy who seemed not to be interested in seeing me or was that just my hallucination. Nah, he's just fickle minded i think!

I never lose focus on work. And things like this is not a big burden to me at all. My life continues to still be the same like before. If i do decide to meet him again, probably it will be out of pity or the last good bye before he goes back to Manhattan.

I think it is a good memory for you, it do not matter if you stay together there or not, you already said that it was not love, just friendship, so it do not matter much.
You can still be friends with him. People have their own work in life and friends understand this thing. If he loves traveling the what is wrong in that.

Not available for dinner or not available for something else? The reason I'm asking is that if you haven't cleared that, he might not get the right impression, especially if he was indeed that persistent in sending you messages and inviting you for Dinner, not just coffee. Anyway, it seems a bit weird to meet for dinner after you've never seen him before. Better meet first in broad day light, what would you say? Better safe than sorry...

Meeting each other after only talking here on Mylot? Wow! That's sounds interesting. If you feel a bit shocked try to talk only here on the internet yet. Than you could meet.
