Salado Creek Villas in San Antonio, Texas, USA A review

My wife and I are spending the weekend at this Shell Vacation Club resort (Timeshare). Unlike many Timeshare this one is located in the City. The unit we are staying in is a one bedroom unit with a partial kitchen. The Kitchen has a 2 burner range, a microwave oven and a small refrigerator. If you are looking for a full service resort this is not for you but if you are one who needs a place to stay that is several steps above a hotel room and a better deal this is the place for you. One of the thing I noticed the first night that unlike many motels located on a major interstate you hear the highway noise not loud but you hear it. At Salado Creek Villas I have not heard any of the noise and you feel like you are off the beaten track. Most resorts do not provide breakfast but this one does. It was your basic breakfast but it was what you needed. What was nice was my wife could be reading in the bedroom and i could be working and watching TV. Because there is a motel connected with this resort you get daily house cleaning for short stays. The staff was very efficient and helpful. They were able to provide us with answers to any of our questions and offered very sound advice on getting around the city. I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to visit San Antonio, but does not want to stay in an expensive motel. if you need room to stretch out this is the place for you.
