Is responding to old comments would still yield some earnings ?

Hello friends ! I want to ask if going back to old post comment and answering it just by now would have a weights in our earnings since it was posted 5 months ago. It was not my intention to answer late , but sometimes because of so many post to read and answer here , i was able to skipped some important discussions' replies and now i am coming back for it but i am assuring those who posted comments in my discussion that all of those you've shared are significant for me and i am so grateful for the time you spared. Hi Angelpink,it doesn't matter whether the discussion you are going to respond or have responded to is new or old.You get paid here for what you type.We are paid here for our overall participation.If you want to respond to an old discussion,you may do so without any hesitation.You will be paid for it whether the initiator of the discussion comments back on your response or not.

No,no,don't harbor such notions.You may respond to any discussion no matter it is old or a new one.You will be paid for your response whether the starter of the discussion comments back on your response or response or not.Mylot honors the labor you put in here.

I got really a wrong notion before , thought it would no longer have its weight if it is left not responded for several months. Also i am feeling awkward to answer , have this in my mind , that the one who commented might feel bad why i did not respond to his post. These were all erased when i posted this discussion , only now i am enlightened. Thanks to all god Samaritans if Mylot .

This is what makes Mylot unique and beautiful , no time table , no deadline , you can take it anytime and anywhere as long as internet is there. No pressure ,

ALL of your activity, if it is within the guidelines and takes place on topics which are within the guidelines, will earn for you. It makes no difference when a topic was first posted, what counts is what YOU do because YOU earn for your own activity.
If you go back and add comments on your own topics then they might even become active again because they will go to the top of certain lists, others will see them and might respond, giving you the chance to commen (and earn) even more.

Mysdianit , You made a corrections in the wrong concept in my mind. I really thought it won't earned anymore because that was long ago , no longer fresh and timely. So answering old post can help that post gain some audience , wow that so beautiful , it favors me !

there's nothing wrong with that at all they may feel good seeing someone respond on their discussion even if it is old.

Suzzy , that is what also in my mind before . I am worried people might not be able to connect with me but these all wild thoughts that we have have no truth . No such thing as new or old here , the important thing is we are able to participate well in each discussion that is being posted here. A discussion which we feel like important and good for us.

im not too sure but i would have thought that you would get rewarded because you get paid for participation. I must admit that i regulary go back and read older posts because i like to go back and see if other people have commented on them. If you are unsure you go back and read the Q and A and that should help to explain it all for you.

to be honest i think that everybody is a bit guilty of that particulary when you are new to mylot. I sometimes to it now because i quickly read posts but dont have the time to comment on them but im now doing that less and less. As long as you participate with Mylot you should always get paid.

Sometimes i am just too busy that i forget to give response to all my post because i made another new post , meaning one post after the other. Only to find out , that this is not the good thing for i need to comment back those who have given comment to my post , discussion must be done . That what makes Mylot more lovable , anything you do as long as in its premise will earn us something , i come to think , nothing is free here but only the friendship , love and concern of our fellows. Nothing is free because everything that you are doing have something in return.

Like others have responded back here aLready all your activity here counts no matter how old the discussion is. If you see something you are interested in responding back too, go for it. I find myself many times responding back in older discussions and many times it helps revive them again.

Yes , that is what am doing now , and one thing i realized that responding to old post are the surest way to earn , as long as your response don't violate because you see until to the present they were not deleted that means they are quality post and worthy to be responded . You get paid for participation no matter how old the discussion is. I think that it is good to answer some that have not been answered or looked at. As long as you are participating then you will be fine. There are a lot of posts that have never been answered, so I say answer then and keep mylotting. :)

Yes , that is what i am learning now , no matter how old is our post still it will be earning if we will just respond correctly . Slowly i am checking all my post now as to which i haven't responded and i'll go over with it.

As long as you are active and participate, you will earn for what you do, no matter if the discussion is new or old. I have ended up responding to discussions that were several years old, in hopes of reviving it. I also just recently, got a response from one of my discussions that is 3 years old, and it surprised me, and I did comment back. So you see, if a discussion is interesting enough and users respond and you comment back, you will earn from it. sometimes, the older discussions are more interesting than the newer ones. Don't be afraid to respond to old discussions. You never now but that your response or comment could get people to going back and responding and commenting to it and reviving it. You are still credited with the response that you make no matter how old the discussion is, for as long as your response is within the discussion guidelines. Older posts are not taken down from the site to serve as reference and also, there are tons of advice and information that can be learned from them.

All that we are writing here have a use , could be for the present or for future needs. This is what makes Mylot a great writing earning site because we are not here for nothing but we are here for a purpose , that is to enrich others knowledge , to share experiences which teaches a lesson . So glad to know that discussions and comments made here have no age and it don't get old and earnings would always be there. I am blessed to be in Mylot.

The age of a discussion does not matter. after all, I go and check all my discussion every once in a while. And to my surprise there is a reply. But for some reason I never get the email notification for it. As a matter of fact, I don't get a lot of email notifications. That is one reason why some replies go un-responded. But go back as far as you want to and respond to them. It is all good.
