Wal mart lost an item

I was at wal mart a week ago and I saw a big cardboard stand in the fresh pod isle that had small bags of pita chips. They were 3.98 which I found pricy so decided to pass. Well I changed my mind and decided to go back for them yesterday. The stand was gone. I asked 4 different people that work there including the manager for that department. No one knew where the stand had gone to or they didn't even know they had it there the week before. I'm not losing it my husband and I both saw it and is cussed getting it. How does wal mart not even remember having this product from a week ago

Well that is disappointing. I have experienced shopping in some boutiques inside malls and whenever I ask some of the sales associates where they keep a certain item in their shop, they would answer me that they do not know. I mean, come on, they don't even know what they sell? And they can't even tell me if they have it or not, they just tell me I don't know. This has happened to me a couple of times and instead of getting all pissed I just move on and try other shops. It is kinda a hassle for me of course but then the thought of them not getting a sale for lacking a critical knowledge in their work is enough "punishment".

I hate it when dvd or record stores do that, I know they have a lot of stock but they should know their stuff. It turns customers off and makes them not want to shop there.

That would be so irritating. I wouldn't imagine they would just fly off the shelf at a price of 3.98 a bag, so it's weird that they just "disappeared" like that. It seems like they only put on those stands what is on sale or 'bargain' priced, so it's weird they would put those pita chips on a display like that. Hmmmm. I can't say I've ever had that happen to me. I wonder where on earth they went?

That's pretty funny that they completely forgot a product and a stand. I guess WalMart gets pretty busy though.

That doesn't make sense to me either. Someone in the organizational department must have forgotten to take their brain pills, or something, this morning. LOL

If you have ever worked there you should know one person tells you to do one thing and the next person comes along and tell you no don't do it that way do it this way, then a third person comes along and say take that down we don't want that. When no one is on the same page it is a wonder they make so much money.

It could be due to a large amount of stock that the employees just don't keep track. It is also possible that those you talked to never had the item purchased in their line. The price for those pita chips are pretty high! It just makes me laugh that Walmart spouts "value" but my local supermarket has lower prices. Seems that those people are clueless and the manager should pay closer attention to detail.
