The problem I"m having with the IRS right now has my mind in a mess. I can't concentrate on anything especially here on mylot. I received a letter from them Saturday...4 days after they cleaned out my bank account telling me what was going on. No wonder I couldn't get any where with them. They say they sent me 4 letters yet it was not until the took my money did I actually get a letter from them. Sounds fishy to me. I've written to my state senator who is also on the board of directors for the building I live in. I got a quick response from one of his aides for me to send my phone # so I expect to spend a lot of time on the phone tomorrow. As it stands I am minus over $500 in my checking account which is what I would have paid this months bills and medication from. Everything thing is screwed up and my mind most of all. Do you have a hard time concentrating when you have problems going on in your life? Is it difficult for you to do anything on mylot? I thank God the 15th is almost here and I will get $10 in my paypal account! That is going to be a big help.

I would be out of my mind if this happened to me so I can imagine what you're going through. Hopefully, someone will help you all the way through this...it's awful. I couldn't concentrate because this would be the only thing on my mind day in and day out....and I'm sure I wouldn't be sleeping much either.
I thought you were suppose to talk with the IRS a few days ago. Anything happen then?
As far as I remember, and I might be wrong, but I thought you didn't have to pay tax on out of state items unless they ranged over $800.00, or something close to that amount. But what you're paying is awfully high.

I've called people and of course they don't answer and I have to leave a message. People who said they will call me never did. If I didn't live in the place I do it would be worse. They are helping me financially so I wouldn't get behind on my bills. Yes, it's very high I believe they made a mistake but according to them they are perfect and don't make mistakes.

Did they show you proof of what they're talking about? I'm wondering if most of this is a penalty of some sorts. Have you talked with them over the phone?

I have been having financial problems, and with it comes a lot of worry on my part, wondering how i am going to get the bills paid. I have decided not to worry so much, and put it in the Lord's hands. Usually though when my mind is like mush, I will just stop what I am doing, and sit back and relax my mind, and that does help. I find, that being here does help as well, as I forget my problems and have fun. I am sorry to hear about your problem with the IRS. I hope you can get it resolved soon. Take care, and have a very good day.

God is really doing his best for me. The bldg i live in gave me the money to pay 2 of the bills i was worried about...my life insurance policies. Plus they gave me a roll of quarters to do laundry. I feel so helpless and needy and I'm not used to feeling this way.

I've had my share of days that left me really having a bad time thinking of how to solve certain issues. It could also give me sleepless nights. It gives me such a terrible headache, of course, but one could just not stop thinking unless a solution can be available right away.
Well, I hope that your problem will be resolved soon.

When my mind is like a mush, I take time to relax, sleep, watch something funny on tv, eat something I like(something sweet and with caffeine would work)

this is too bad.. maybe your children can help you recover from your bills. I am sure they will be happy to extend help to their mother. I wish you can get over this trouble as soon as possible. no worries. always remember this Matthew 6:26 ESV
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
whenever i have money trouble.. i recall that verse. it helps me

I can relate to that verse and never heard it before. Unfortunately for me my kids are barely making it as it is and couldn't afford to help me. I have no other family to fall back on when I have problems with money. If my Mom was still alive there would have been no problem because she often helped me out financially.

hi ctryhnny but how can the Irs just take money out of your account so are you sure it w as the IRs? or someone who has stolen your identity. I sure would be checking and call the IRS as I do not think they can just take money out of your account like that. Someone or something is really fishy here.I would really call the IRs and ask why they took money out of your account were it me.

Go to their office or call them. My dad had same thing happened 4-5 months ago. They worked out a great deal for him. Give
it a try. Good luck there. It will all work out for you...
