I'm on Twitter and recently I'm receiving 10 or more e mails a day informing me of new followers and people that I could follow in turn. It's becoming a chore but I am glad to get more followers. I am trying to promote my newly published children's book and the more people that follow me the more the word gets out about it which is good. I still haven't received my book order and I also just found out that it's listed on Amazon.com so I ordered one from there to see how long it takes to get it. I put my other order in back in November and after many excuses the publisher says its on it's way, well I'm still waiting. I am reluctant to join Facebook although I suppose it would give me another way to promote my book. I have heard a lot of bad stuff about Facebook so I'm not sure if I should join, I don't want any online problems. What is your experience with Facebook, good or bad? Do you like Twitter? It's been good for me.

I use both Facebook and Twitter but I think that Twitter is better for promoting things. I use Facebook mainly to keep up with family and friends and don't really want to spam them. On Twitter, people follow me who apparently want to know what I've written or what I'm promoting.

I've used twitter in the past, and I must say that my preference is facebook.. I've connected with people and family that I didn't know existed, and I have used Facebook to start a page for my newly created business, Fleece Blankets. I believe Facebook has helped me greatly gain new contacts, keep in touch with friends, and promote what I do. Best of luck to you!
