How old were your kids when you had the talk with them about the birds and the bees. My daughter is 9 and a half. We have a cute little novel we are reading together about the changes the body will go through. This book doesn't go into details about the actual act of the birds and the bees.mits more about starting to grow certain body parts, hair, and we got to the needing deodorant part. It's cute how they do the book as a novel about a little girl going through puberty. It also talked about how boys are looking at playboys. Anyway just wondering when to really have the birds and the bees talk. I remember learning about it at age 9.

I was around 8 or 9 when I really starte asking questions. Mom took a number of child psychology classes and always said that the right time to talk to a kid about puberty is not depending on their age, but rather on when they start asking questions.
