If I were sad I would Email my friends. If I were sick , I would sleep. If I were bored I would watch t.v. or play video games. There is no need for Facebook.

Facebook to me is mainly the place where I found my girlfriend.
Adding the right groups it also become a place where to find informations, news and events.

I've been trying to find a reason for Facebook, but have failed miserably. Is there legitimate reason here, other than to spend your money and your life uselessly? Who needs to gossip, brag, or complain online, who wants to listen? And what purpose does it serve, other than a post for braggarts and a general human waste of time?

Facebook is many things to me, a place where I can share my thoughts with others, stay in touch with friends and family every day, and even find long lost family or friends that I might not have been able to without the internet. It is just a wonderful place to stay in touch with people, although there is drama from time to time it is very little to the good things that are there. Also you get to play some really neat games, and get special offers from great companies.

To me, its a place where self-absorbed people sit and post every waking minute of their super boring, non-eventful lives. I saw so many pointless posts that I suspended my account three times in one year..now, I only go to talk to relatives in other states..

That's another thing I hate about wireless-devices (the reason WHY most people can post about their meaningless stuff they do): back when you had to be 'at your computer' to be "Facebooking," you could only post MAJOR stuff you were doing. Now, people can treat it like 'brain's memory-storage 2.0'

case in point..I was literally just there a few minutes ago..an associate of mine posted something like this..
I was at the bus stop waiting for the bus and this guy came up to me and asked me if the bus came yet...
Ten minutes later:
I got to work and found out there was no more coffee so I have to go get some...
Ten minutes later:
It was so crowded at Dunkin Donuts. I am still on line waiting...
That is probably still going on right now while I am here posting. I don't know what is more stupid..the actual post or the fact that other people are hitting 'like' while she is giving people a play by play of her life by the minute...

For me, it is a place to come and reacquaint yourselves after yrs. gone by, a place to help promote a Business idea and plan, and a place to come and make New friends. To me a place it should not be is a place to come share some Gossip, and air your dirty laundry for all the world to see.

I am not very active in Facebook. Since it has been blocked in my country, so most of my friends can't access to it. I can still access to Facebook since I use a VPN software. I don't have many real friends in my Facebook account and this is why it is not so interesting for me. Usually at present Facebook is an account for me to do some online earning tasks.

I hate it when people post Bible-quotes as if that is the full extent of what they learn from it (it's not! The Bible is worth NOTHING if you can't apply it to your life now!)

Facebook is a networking tool to me. I don't really delve into the social aspect of facebook unless thats where I need to go in order to contact a person. Just gives me a chance to expand the people I can bring to my site.
