Providence

We often hear people talking of providence coming to their rescue. What is providence according to you? I could also say that providence came to my rescue too when I had met with that ghastly road accident 7 years ago. My mobile was in my bag which I normally leave behind and was used for making urgent calls. The Thoracic Surgeon, normally on off duty had come to the hospital that day and could attend on me without whose intervention I would not have been alive today. I could go on and on... There have been several other incidents in my life which I could call them as providence.
Have you had such experience in your life that you are now forever in the attitude of gratitude?

I've heard and believe in "Divine Providence" wherein God intervenes and saves people from danger. I experience that myself with my son. God saves us from danger. I'm so thankful to God for saving our lives and until now I can't forget it.

dear friend Allknowing, I´m so happy to read how providence helped you
. I think the providence is when a "special energy" drives you to a happy end.
My husband had lost his social security appointments papers. He has been looking for them around our house (that´s your´s too), without success. He looked for them for 4 days. He needed them for Monday, he was going to bed on sunday night, when he tried to get rid of my kitty, because he doesn´t want her in our room.
He asked our children to take my kitty out. My children hitted my dresses and with my dresses the full closet structure came to floor, but wow!! All his social security papers where hanged in the bottom of my dresses in a bag! And they came to floor at the very top of all my dresses.
Wow! A strange place to hide his social security papers! And how many chances did he had to find them just some hours before the deadline? In my closet? I wonder if my kitty hadn´t come playing around at our room?
I told him it has been providence that helped us on Sunday. What do you think?

I hope you did not forget to hug your kitty. She did it!
A nice way - truly a treasure hunt - a game we often play. It takes you round the whole house and finally you get your treasure.
. Then there are times these unforeseen delays work in one's favour and when that happens what else can it be but providence!

Once my bro-in-law came back for his keys and in the process missed his usual train. That train met with an accident and there were several casualties - providence?
