Usually, 10 minute surveys pay about $2, Pincone pays $5 for each and they are usually no more than 10 minutes. My highest paying survey was $30 from Greenfield online. It was an hour and a half long interactive survey. But it was only a new question every couple of minutes or so, whenever it popped up. I was just able to watch TV at the same time.
Some surveys that I do, I get points for, which then convert into either cash by paypal or giftcards.

I have been paid by BuzzBack before. Only $3 to $5 per survey, but hey... it comes by check and there is no minimum payout! They have to send you email invitations though for each survey.
I wasn't paid by NFO. Maybe I never reached their minimum payout or something? I'm not sure what happened with them.
I used to do StartSampling too. They had surveys and free samples. No payments though, just points for stuff.
