Viewing Past Photos and Videos

The other day, I was in my home office archiving some files for DH... Somehow, I clicked on a file that held my son's photos and movies from years past... I couldn't resist and I sat there for over 2 hours! ... just going in and out of each year, each month, viewing his pictures and watching the movies... It literally made my heart ache! He was so adorable, so sweet, so beautiful, so devilish! Well, he's only 7 now, and he still is all these things, but there's just something about looking back, remembering, smiling, and feeling... How often do you look thru baby books, photos and videos??

It is shockingly unbelievable that photos and videos are able to record our past and make past memory available to us any time we want. As we look through babies photos, it makes us remember the once small adorable being that had always cried, laughed and made the whole place a mess. It was a tiring moment indeed, yet it was sweet and a time that we would wish to see again.

Absolutely! I love to look back and it's not often that I can and don't cry with overwhelming love for him... It's not just for him, and it's not just for me... it's for us to share together and I think it goes a long way in demonstrating to him the times we shared, the things we did, the places we went actually built our bond and it can never be forgotten... because of the photos and videos. Thank you for the response.

I have loads of pics, but I can't seem to hold on to videos. I feel guilty about the video part, but then I think, there are no videos of me, really, either. When I see my kids looking at the old photos with me, they get so much joy that I don't think they will miss the videos.

I have all his photos and videos on my computer, but I print out some photos for his baby books... he loves to sit with me and look thru them... I really don't have alot of photos of me growing up, but the few I do have he likes to look at too... I love the idea that when he's much older, he will be able to see all the things we did together and maybe it will help him retain some of his childhood memories...

I have pictures on my computer laptop, but all of it is the picture of me. I have also video posted on my files, but I have not watched them. The video is all about fiestas at the province where my father is the one who is hosting. I have no time to watch them. I don't know why. Well, its a long story.
