People think God places all these rules on us, then sends the holy books in an attempt to convince us to follow His ways. Is that really what is happening?? Is this really God doing this?? Is God, who is capable of creating universes really having this much of a problem with His children?? Why do you think God is not capable of getting you to do anything He wants still within the realm of free will? OK. In order for this physical human existence to continue, people must be created. People must have children. Are we fighting this? Of course not, God just places a little sugar on it and everyone breaks their necks doing it. Yes, it is our free will!! With God's Unconditional Love, God could get us to freely do anything He wanted. It would be our free choice. If we were just following blindly cause it felt good, how could we acquire great wisdom? WE couldn't. So we must be exposed to goodness and evil. Yes,there will be evil choices from time to time in order to discover it all. Getting one's feet dirty can teach quicker than mere words. When God returns our actions back to us,it becomes clear what our choices really mean. In time, through our choices, we acquire the great wisdom God wants for us all. For those who search for God's actions in order to understand God on their journey to God.The way God has guarantied the continuation of people and generations by placing that sugar for us all is an action of God. God's actions are all around us. In this time based causal universe, God's actions can be seen and can not be altered by mankind. Look to what actually is for the understanding of God. Ok, so is God really having a hard time with His kiddies? The kiddies might be having a hard time with each other, but God has never had a hard time with His children. There will always be learning and growing pains on the way to true wisdom.

Human by nature is so stubborn headed. That is why God constantly disciplines His children to make them a better person. God loves His children that is why He disciplines them. He loves all people too that they want them to come to repentance by accepting Jesus as their Savior. Nobody is really perfect and we all need God and a Savior. Thanks for this discussion. God Bless

Does God really have a need to discipline His children? God has no need to discipline. God simply returns our actions back to us. We learn what our choices mean. Intelligence makes the right choices after one acquires the knowledge. Now some might consider what returns as discipline, however if one can choose evil, it is important to understand what one is really choosing. If one can give something to the world, one should be willing to receive it as well. God simply loves us all Unconditionally. Returning our actions is an act of love for it is really in our best interest to understand what we do.

That is true If you Choose wisdom. Many of G-d's children choose riches instead. They rather make a buck than learn something new. I think G-d made a huge mistake with the tree of knowledge gag. Like a first time parent , He thought you say no nd the kids obey. Wrong. In fact I think it was all a set up. so now we have free will and the right to think or not think. For many they get their feet "dirty" and remain in the dirt. They didn't come here to learn so they won't learn a thing. So the children don't have a problem with G-d. In fact many don't even believe He exists.

You want to bet. There are many who learn nothing in this life.

I wouldn't count on those holy book stories as being the actual actions of God. Mankind wrote those stories. Consider this: Regardless of the choices and actions of God's children, no one goes through life and learns nothing. This is a Fact!!

Even if you do nothing all your life, you will learn something from doing nothing. Think about it!!

God has created this beautiful universe and filled with all natural wonders and humans. But for that he has little control over his subjects. Men of the present act on their own whims and fancies. God can do little about it.

Do you think that God really has little control? Or do you think that God wants his subjects to be able to do good of their own volition?

God wants His children to learn and acquire great wisdom. This is something that can be taught but you can't do it for the children. Free choice is a crucial part of acquiring wisdom. The results of our actions teach us what the right choices are. God is capable of controlling our every move but in doing so we would not grow into wisdom. Perhaps God has made the intelligent choice which makes our acquiring wisdom more important than controlling our every move. With God's current system His children Gain so much more. jalucia. You are right. God wants us to be able to do it on our own rather than have it done for us. God will be teaching and guiding our path to learning great wisdom. sukumar794. I think you greatly underestimate God.

You have created a very good post and i congratulate you for it. Yes, God gave mankind free will to do as he chooses. He has placed both choices before us, good and evil, and given us the freedom to walk on whatever path we wish to follow. Those who choose good will get good in return and those who choose evil will get evil in return. We have to use our discriminative faculties to go on the right path that will bring us closer to him. This worldly life is full of temptations and distractions, all created by mankind out of its own free will. We have to learn to distinguish between right and wrong if we want to lead a better life or choose to hurtle to our doom by traveling on the path of evil. God is always keeping an eye on us and nothing can escape his vision. We are foolish if we think we can get away with anything. A man may escape the law created by humans but he cannot escape his dues in God's kingdom and will have to pay the price for his misdeeds. God is above and beyond everything and he remains totally unaffected and unaltered by what his children are doing.Life on earth is a learning process and it is entirely upto us how we go about it, towards salvation or towards doom.

Yes, when one truly understands one's actions, temptation is no longer an issue. Further, you speak of our bad choices leading us to doom. In reality, our bad choices lead us to some very hard lessons. Since God has created us all eternal, there is no ending doom so to speak. On the other hand, when one reaches the point when they give nothing but unconditional love to the world, the goodness returning will seem like salvation. We will wonder why we haven't made that choice long ago.

Hi bird: Thanks for a great discussion as usual. I think God is not experimenting a problem with his kids, either he is wanting to control ourselves with this list of books and rules he sent us. He just want to guide us to HIS love message and he respects our freedom of choice letting us discover our answers, our truth. It's necessary to commit some mistakes in our learning process indeed. God has sent no books, however God has sent us all each other. God gave everyone a different view to guaranty mankind a larger view than any one person could have. We are the fix for each other. The answers are always all around us living with the truth that stares us all in the face. Our challenge is to see, discover, then Understand!!

why should God have hard time? Why should god control us, we came with a brain and heart to do it ourselves.

Exactly!!It is important that we do choose in order to really learn. God doesn't have the control issues mankind does. Mankind comes with rules, threats and intimidation. God's system is so much more advanced than that.

HaShem ( the Creator)is not having a hard time with the creatures of His creation...the Creator does not micromanage. His creatures were put on a world with wonderful resources, books of knowledge and a promise of some form of paradise if they learned to live together and treat each other with grace and kindness. Most folks think that there is a nasty alternative if these actions are not fulfilled. BUT, above all, they were given free choice...they can do as they please and have done so. Humans had exploited the resources to near extinction, they have not treated each other with grace and kindness and they have not taken advantage of great words of advice and knowledge...Humans failed not HaShem.... There is still hope however, that humans will wake up to reality and learn how to behave. I am afraid that it will take a great deal of suffering for this to happen though.

God will teach all His children to Love Unconditionally. Indeed, mankind is a stubborn lot. You are right. This is going to take time. It's a good thing there is plenty of that.

As you have said, God has imparted free will amongst his children. He has supplied them with all they need, but wants them to make the choice to embrace it.

Yes, you do see. Making our free choices as we truly want, instead of making the choices of others, will lead us to the great wisdom that God will teach all His children. Be who you must! It's a part of the plan! leads to the very best results in the Big picture of it all.
