Do you notice Yahoo is slowing climbing to the top?

For about a few weeks now, my blog stat has been showing me that my visitors are increasingly coming from Yahoo. Just today, I checked Alexa. Surprisingly, Yahoo is now in number 4 position under the top sites section. Before, it used to be some other site. I also checked what other sites were saying about the top search engines. There was a time when Bing used to be number 2. Now Yahoo has replaced it. Of course, Google remains number 1. However,on Alexa, it is still fighting with Facebook for the number 1 position. This has been going on for about a year now. But many of its localized search engines like Google India, France and so on are going downward. I am still sure that it is not going to be too harmful for Google as a whole. But are you now using Yahoo more? I haven't gone to the site for about 6 months now.

I will keep my eyes on it too. You are right, this is getting interesting. Just think about what Yahoo had to go through couple of months ago. So many of its CEO's just got off from their positions! SEO experts were going on saying that Yahoo is no more the quality search engine because of its slowness. Everyone was predicting that Bing was the next big one. But I am pretty shocked to see it lose this. But you will never know what happens in the future. Observing the competition is surely going to reveal us who will see the happy ending.

I use gmail, hotmail, mail.com, AOL mail and yahoo mail. On Yahoo, the accounts are a little more. But all of them are important except for aol one. I can't use gmail for serious stuff though. The attachment button always seems to have some problem. It has been driving me crazy. I suppose each has its own weaknesses. For instance, yahoo mail often suffers from hacker's threats. AOL mail page loads too slowly. Gmail has some privacy issues. Hotmail is the only one I can't complain about. It is a bit slow, but it is not like the AOL one.
