Someone buzzed my apartment buzzer this morning at 4:00 am. Kept on buzzing for over a minute until he woke up everyone in the house. I got up and used the intercom to find out what the heck was going on then he says oh wrong apartment. I'm so tired, I coudnt fall back asleep after that.

Oops, his bad! At least you know who it was. I have had people ring my buzzer, then I go to the intercom and nobody says anything. Then I wonder who the heck was just at my door. The other day my neighbor said that some young guy was looking for me and she told him I wasn't home. I have yet to find out who that was.

Oops! that really is a bad story. you should have talked to that stranger as to why he/she didn't knock the right apartment, after all, at 4:00 a.m. one must think 100 times before actually ringing the right apartment. if he/she was not sure then probably he/she should not have done that. you should go out and ask him how he realized that he was not at the right apartment. if i were in place of you i would have certainly done something different; something like doing a thing that also irritates that person; perhaps asking him too many questions.

Ah, I hate that stuff. Happened to us several times, when our neighbor was coming from work at 2:00 AM and forgot her security key for the main entrance of our block (we live in a 7-story block of apartments), so she started buzzling to us instead of her son who lives with her. When I asked her furiously why did she buzz so franticly on our bell instead of her son, she said she didn't want to wake him up! And he is 19 years old. She very well know that we also have a child and our child is only 5 and also sleeping but she preferred to wake us up, so you can only imagine how angry I was at 2:00 AM and what words I called her in my anger...

Wow it would be hard to go to sleep after that. I'm sorry that someone did that and then they had the wrong place. Did you get to lay down and try to get some sleep later. Hopefully you are able to get a good night's sleep tonight. Because if you didn't sleep then you had a long day today.

I've had that happen before, and I've gone up to the lobby, and wrung the guy's neck. Anothersuggestion if it happens again is to call 911 while he's buzzing incessantly. Who knows what kind of psycho drunk could be up there!!

Oh! That's bad... You were all fooled by that man. I hope you will get a real rest. That man probably did not know so just don't think of that anymore. I get a lot of wrong "knocking" on my door until I reached a point where I got used to it.
