I enjoy working out at health clubs. They have so much state of the art equipment and different activities going on, it's usually lots of fun. My favorite equipment is the leg press. My legs have always been very strong and it feels good to see how much weight I can comfortably lift by pushing my feet against the plate. Among the classes, I like the dance and yoga types. They offer comraderie and music, along with the creative movement and other benefits. If there's a juice and smoothie bar, I always try the latest flavors. It's another fun way to be healthy. My favorite health club ever was my college's health and fitness center. They have an indoor-outdoor Olympic pool and indoor track, sauna, steam, showers and lockers, among other things. It was my bliss!

The gym I go to is just a plain leisure centre and doesn't have half the amenities that your Health Club has, but it suits me, I go three times a week, work out for 90 minutes, I do my own programs and change them regularly. I have my music on so no one bothers me, I like the cross trainer the best. I can lose track of time when I am on it, they have television on if you want to exercise and watch tv at the same time, but the volume is turned off, because of the music. They do have classes, which you can go along to as part of your membership, but I prefer to work out alone.

Ah wolfie, I wisj I could wiggle my nose and make your gym all that it could be. Sounds like you are making the most of it. When I am on machines, I like to be off in my own world, as well.

Sounds like a really nice health club Belinda. I enjoyed my college health club. It was awesome, with a bowling alley, a track, cardio and weight rooms as well as ball courts. I haven't seen anything like it since I graduated. Being a college student, I took advantage of the track, but not much else at the time since I wasn't really into strength training at that time. I worked at a health club/resort and it was nice and they had some great equipment there as well. I think they have remodeled and it looks nice from the pictures I've seen. I worked in the child care center so I didn't get to see the health culb aspect of it to much though I took advantage of the facilities when I could. I WILL BE getting my personal trainer certification and sports nutrition certifications and possibly health club Manager certification by June of this year. I've been working on it long enough and now is the time to cease the moment. I think this will make me a little more marketable. I love strength training the most, pushing around weights just does something to the psyche that I find empowering I think a juice and smoothie bar would be a great asset to any health club.

Wow, Arieles, what a bold new direction for your career! I am so happy for you! Where are you getting the certifications from, if I may ask?
