My nine year old is cleaning the bathroom right now. I told her I would teach her since the house we just bought has 2 bathrooms and she will be responsible to clean heroin bathroom. She is doing a good job. I hope she keeps it up when we move to the new place.

oh lordy I can only guess what mr. lamb will say to your typo.
"heroin" I know you meant her own.
In any case, it is good, hopefully she will learn fast.
I was never forced to clean and for that reason today I am such a lazy lazy person about cleaning.

Hello poppoppop. The younger a child is taught to do chores the better they are as they get older. If she learns to clean up every time she uses the bathroom the easier it will be to clean if you know what I mean. I have two granddaughters that are just now finding that putting things in the bathroom away is the best policy They are seventeen and eighteen. It is just as easy to put the toothbrush away in the toothbrush holder as it is to lay it on the counter. I think that telling her she is doing a good job often will help her to want to keep it clean. Let her decide how to decorate her bathroom may help her to want to keep it clean too. She soyunds like a very responsible nine year old.
