Breakfast of Champions

Today for breakfast I had this, I hope the picture will come out and post. I was wondering if you could tell what all was in the bowl? I then would like to know what you had for breakfast today and why it is your breakfast of champions? Mine was quite healthy I guess and gave me some of what I need to start the day. But is it what you normally have? I was told by a friend and his GF at one time they just smoked cigarettes for breakfast. Is that gross or normal to you?

I don't smoke so I wouldn't know if it is satisfying enough for a breakfast. Anyway, I just had coffee and toasted bagel with cram cheese, butter and jellied jalapeño for breakfast. I found it satisfying because I always eat little for breakfast and dinner. I eat a lot for lunch so... Anyway, I really can't tell what's in the picture, probably my computer's monitor. Can you please tell me what it is?

I even eat littler, this is what I normally eat but sometimes will make the odd pancakes. The last time I made pancakes I ended up cutting my hand on a jar of coconut oil (last Wednesday). Ugh.

I could not guess what you ate by the picture. It might have eggs, paprika, but I don´t know for sure. I normally eat a mug of coffee with a bit of milk and bread with something over it. But today I had made very nice muffins with blueberries and bananas. So I had a couple of those.

Ho, it wasn't eggs or paprika. It was some kind of "spice" though in the picture. Those muffins you had sounded yummy, MMM.

Your breakfast looks like oatmeal with maybe cinnamon or brown sugar and maybe some fruit. I'm always hearing that having breakfast within an hour of waking kick-starts our metabolism for the day. All I know is that when I eat a proper breakfast, I'm hungry again sooner and I eat more during the day, which doesn't help my weight-loss attempts. I usually have 2 coffees, (skim milk and sweetener) and toast. I've also tried (at the recommendation of my doctor) oatmeal. I'm going to be trying cereal with non fat yoghurt and see how that goes. I need to not gain weight, not be hungry again in an hour, have some energy to work and not feel sleepy again within 10 minutes, the latter of which has been a problem for several months now.

No fruit added, and didn't have any brown sugar so didn't add that in it either. I wish I did then I could make a fruit compote that is what I'm hungry for right now. When you eat a proper breakfast it makes you hungrier? Is that what you meant? You would think it would be the opposite way around. Maybe you are having too many carbs at breakfast? You could try adding some protein to your breakfast cause that might help you in not being as hungry for awhile.

I can't tell what it is. I did read part of it is oatmeal. I usually eat later in the afternoon and something more lunch like. I skip breakfast.

If I skipped breakfast I would be hungry for the most crucial part of my day (and therefore gain weight, so they say).

Your breakfast is healthy, good for you. Me I had my coffee for breakfast, this one I cannot survive without. If cars need gasoline to run my body needs coffee to function hehehe :) Sometimes I can have boiled egg and a slice of cheese but these past few days I am taking lemon juice with honey to avoid having cough and cold. Hope it will do good for me.

Alot of people depend on their coffee, I just don't have a craving for it cause I don't want to have it. So I avoid it. It does taste good if made right. By right I mean personalized to your own specific needs. That is so true with gasoline and cars, some people make the coffee run them as well. I would like to make coffee for for me, haha--just kidding.Lemon juice and honey is excellant to avoid having a cold or cough! I have tried to do that here as well, my brother is still coughing fro his cold last week. And I live with him here so I don't want to get it. So far I'm good with it.
