Girl traveller - When is the best time to travel to Mexico and what to expect

I am choosing some destinations for my travels this year. And I am thinking about Mexico. I have never been there before. I am a girl and I would like to know when is the best time of the year to visit Mexico and have lots of party and fun but also be safe at the same time.
Can you also please suggest things that I should be careful about while in my stay in Mexico?

Every place can be dangerous no matter if you are male or female. I think you can inform yourself about the weather, country etc by any travel agency (online as well). Our government has a site where you can find travel advices (where to go or better stay away). If you travel with a travel agency you might be saver and have someone you can ask if you are in trouble or need. There are plenty of magazines, articles etc you can read about the country. Take some meds (your own first aid "box") with you and enjoy!

Wow you travel all by yourself? i mean alone? how you find friends when you go there? Even i am a girl and i simply love travelling. But in my country men are pathetic. They are inhuman and behave as if never seen girls. Losers
I have travelled in my country but with my friends, I think more than travel guide you just need to be safe. Men are never good anywhere.

Yes I looooove travelling and seeing new places and making new friends. I feel so happy when I travel. But again when I am goin out I would prefer the group to be mixed - boys n girls, its more fun plus other guys dont trouble much when they see guys in the group.
I am sorry for your bad experience. huh! men can be animals. Do you feel more safe when you are in a girls only group?
