I'm coming down with a Cold!

So hi every one, I been extremely sick. I think I'm coming down with a cold or worse. I hate it when I feel perfectly fine, and then all of a sudden the next morning I feel awful. I have had a terrible cough and just cold in my throat. Just feel terrible, I have been taking cold medicine, to ease the symptoms but not working as of now. Anyone else coming down with a cold, from no where?

I'm with you Shante, 5 days into a cold. I'm at the coughing stage now but feeling a little better than yesterday. My cold came out of the blue as well but I have a theory because two days before the first symptoms appeared I visited a friend and his house was freezing. He is a man who never feels the cold. He put the air con on but that blew cold and after that an electric heater but that didn't do a thing. So when my husband and I came home we were both cold, but I was cold all over, chilled to the bone. Our friend was in good health so I did not pick up a cold from him.
Is it possible to get a cold just from getting cold?

This cold weather is giving us trouble here in our place.
Lot of people are now having cough, cold and flu.
The other day I started sneezing so I take more fruits and water.
Thanks I am fine now- I don't want to get sick.

Yes, this happened to me a couple of times. I just tried to get plenty of rest and did whatever I could to make myself feel comfortable. Just when I got over the first sickness, I had a second incident. That time I found out that my iron was super-low. So it might help to see a doctor.
