Hello everyone, I am planning to purchase a new smartphone but i have noticed that many of new smartphones has micro-sim support only. So i am confused why is many Smartphone companies are adopting micro-sim when they knows that many of peoples have mini-sim (Standard size) and even many peoples don't know about micro-sim. Then Why just for making slim and give more space for hardware?

I have never seen a micro-SIM card before. Well, maybe I already have one in my phone. Mine is probably a couple of centimeters both ways. Is that micro? A lot of cell phone companies don't even require SIMs anymore in the U.S. I think this is weird... My company still makes you use a SIM, and I like it that way. That way you don't have to go to one of their stores to transfer data.

That is a question I am wondering about too, as all the phones I have had before the one I have now, all had regular size sim cards. I have the Samsung galaxy S3, and it is a bigger phone, but a smaller sim car. I was surprised when i bought my phone, that I was told, that they couldn't use my sim card in my new pone,s ince it takes the micro one. Maybe someone will respond, and know the answer to the question. Take care, and have a very good day.
