How would you know if he's telling the truth?

Having friends is nice and it will make you feel invulnerable... I think... But, How can you determine if he/she is true to you? I have a friend right now, He was kinda weird but he's been talking to me... say greetings and when we bump to each other at the office.. he smiles but sometimes he snobs... He is really weird... believe me... Sometimes He shares a lot about his life and He's asking about mine.. Now, I have doubts about this. Should I share about my life story or what?

Kind of depends on how well you trust him. If you have doubts I wouldn't tell too many personal things that he might tell to others. But I don't see anything wrong with talking to him about general things in your life. It's hard to tell if a person is lying until you catch them. And a person who lies a lot usually will get caught. Some people say if a person doesn't look you in the eye when talking about something they might be lying. If sometimes he's nice and other times not, maybe he's bi-polar or has deeper issues he hasn't talked to you about yet. Ask him why he snobs on those days, maybe it would help him to talk about why he's acting that way.

Go with your gut instinct. If you feel that something is up with this person, at the very least you won't interact well. So keep it business.
