It's about time I sue my tenant

My husband and I have been having problems in dealing with our tenant but now we are to the point of seeking legal advise. Yesterday we've received a notice saying we need to reduce our excessive noises coming from our apartment. Today my husband called them asking them to be specific about but the office manager kept telling him sir lower your tone and as he continues talking to her she warns him if he doesn't lower it she'll hang up and she did. We are soo surprise as we've never seen a professional person to act this way. We have children but they do not make excessive noises and during the day they are not even at home and at night time they sleep early with the exception of weekend because that's their free nights. I feel like I'm being discriminated and asking me to hush my kids which I wouldn't. What do you all think I should do? They already have issues with us and talking to them is not worth it since they are very rude and sharp to deal with.

If you are not making any loud noises, then yes I think that you should seek legal advice and see what your steps are to take next. They maybe thinking its you, but it could be another tenant or not sure what is going on. But I hope you get some answers soon and hopefully, they don't sue you for some noise that you or your kids are not even maing.

They have no case whatsoever. We'll be out of here pretty soon so no worries.

I don't understand, your discussion here, are your the land lord, or are you the tenant, well if you are getting, a complain from your land lord, about noise, you are keeping then you, should make sure, your kids not not noisy.

I am not going to tell my kids to shut up (that's child abuse). I will let them to feel free to do whatever they want afterall we are paying money...aren't we?

I think that you really need to ask legal advice regarding this. That way both of you would have peaceful minds regarding this matter. I am just wondering what noise is she talking about when there isn't actually any noise. She must be hearing things.....

Yes I did seek a legal advice and they have been contacting us. We are leaving this place pretty soon so I don't need the hassle or energy to fight with them. It's not my place to live anywayz.
