Alright lotters, I am so happy and after almost a month of applying job after moving from Japan to US I finally got a job;-) I had an interview last Monday and everything went well. The bank job was awesome, the benefits and salary for is not bad at all and I was expecting even lower but I was lucky to get higher than what I was expecting. I was been busy nowadays and I think gonna be more busy soon and I am hoping to continue my activity in mylot however at the present time I am very happy and so excited;-) great start of the year for me!

Finding a job in the U.S. can be difficult. There are a lot of Americans who have been struggling to find full-time jobs--some for years. That includes Americans who have attended college in the U.S.--often incurring large amounts of debt in order to do so.

I'm well aware of the fact that other countries have been affected--hence the "global" in "global economic crisis." I have known plenty of people who chose to come to U.S. to study and remained to become citizens and build lives here. That is what one of my best friends did... and she is barely keeping afloat just as most of the rest of us are. It is not the fault of those who come to this country looking for opportunity that the system is skewed in such a way as to trap people. There is very little chance of upward social mobility within this country. I do congratulate you on the job.

Job crisis is a global phenomenon, just some countries are less affected than the others, but unemployment is one common factor that many suffer from no matter what country, creed etc., they belong to. Lets be happy for those who can make it through. Now they will be able to better support themselves and those that are dependent on them.
