I wasn't able to use what I have reviewed last night

Too bad for those who reviewed for the exams because the questions aren't related to what they've reviewed and studied but, too good for those who did not review, just like me, because all you need in order to answer the questions is your common sense and "word power". This is one of the funniest moments that a student encounters while studying. I don't know if this happens to other countries too but, this happens to every school that I have attended in my whole student life. The teachers/professors would tell the students to review everything that s/he have discussed so, the students would not sleep at night just to study and review but when the examination day comes, they would be very disappointed because the exam is in "essay type" and they would feel heartbroken because their effort is wasted and taken for granted.

Haha. Just some more trickery of the educational system. Making things harder for the students. I wonder why you didn't study?

I understand the feeling. I always worry that the material I am studying is not useful for the exam. If it is because the exam is easier then it is better but sometimes the exam is on other material I haven't concentrated on. There was also this one professor I had that would tell us not to study certain parts of the textbook but then she would test us on it. I think I perfer the teachers who tell us to study everything.

I really don't know how often review materials aren't related to future questionnaires. This shows that board exams materials are mostly based on what was taught and what was learned all throughout your college stint.

Wow,usually the exam in univesity will relate to what we studied,so yes actually in my university period when the exam comes I will get prepare with review for the a whole week, even stay up late all night. And I think the exam test the common sense usually should be the one for civil servant or company entry. But anyway good for you, wish you will have a high score.

It happened to me during college many many times, and it even happened during the board exams! Some subjects did not tackle most of the coverage but it posed questions that require good old common sense. In my case I still reviewed of course because we'll never know until the exam questions are already right in front of us. It's a. It frustrating especially if you lose sleep over it lol! But I figure that its better if I have enough sleep and alert than review the night before and be sleepy or drowsy the following day for the exam.

I actually, do not study at all. I find that it's only good for making you nervous. If I know the stuff I know it; last minute studying isn't going to make me learn it.

Oh,things are totally different in my student life. What teachers told us to review always became focal points for exams.
