for my opinion only, i dont like using windows 8, i dont know why microsoft do that software. in pormality? yes, being popular because you are using latest version of OS? yes, but for me its no i dont like windows 8 first of all it can take much more memory, new in our mind so the settings change, added new features like if you turn on your computer it go to desktop, on windows 8 its not, uncomfortable to use. its better to use the windows 7 or windows XP again.

it is better to upgrade to windows 8 because it is a lot faster than windows 7 and better style, more customizable and better multitasking.

Yes and it's terrible. The worst thing is that you can hardly buy a new modern computer with any Windows version aside of Windows 8. So when I buy a new computer (hopefully soon), I will get it without operating system. Windows 8 is the worst thing that happened to PC industry.

I always believe that if it's not broke, don't fix it. I'm still using Windows 7 and it serves my purposes quite well so I don't think I will ever change to Windows 8. I've seen the interface for Windows 8 and I thought that it looks quite neat but I don't think I would ever change unless of course if the support for Windows 7 is discontinued so I don't have a choice but to use Windows 8 or the latest Windows.

My daughter has windows 8 on her new computer. I have 7 and it will stay that way. I never see the need to change the windows version I have into anything new. It mostly stinks what I have anyway. According to my daughter it's not that great unless you have those touching screens (we don't). What I do find annoying is that all these "extra's" are only making your pc slower. You need way more memory to run it and all those never ending updates. Well windows wants us all to switch time after time after time, no matter if it's good or not (even if they admit it's not) and if you don't you will find out that there soon is no updating or help anymore.
