Because of my hectic schedule at home and work, I have missed going to the gym for two weeks and now I can see my arms growing big again. After spending months at the gym, I have noticed a great change on my arms first. They have become more toned but now when I looked in the mirror, after two weeks of absence, I can see that they have started to become big again. When I work out I usually focus on the toning and firming of my arms because they have become flabby. So far I'd been quite successful in doing this, but my two week's absence is giving me another problem now. How about you? Do you care if your arms are big or what?

I do care about how I look. I want to look and feel good and at least be assured that somehow I am doing something right in taking care of my health. I used to go to the gym as well but since I moved I haven't tried to get to any gym in here yet. I do notice that I am not as toned as I used to be, but I also got thinner. I look frail. There are a few arm-toning exercises that my framer instructor taught me that I can do while sitting down anywhere. I just have gotten too lazy to even do it. After the winter is over, and it has gotten a bit warmer, maybe I will start jogging again.

Sometimes I do these arm exercises on the street while waiting for a ride but the kid would always call my attention, telling me it's embarrassing to do that.

I care if they are big cause that means I won't be able to fit in some of the shirts and tops that I found especially for the summer that are just what I needed. I am trying to loose some more pounds again though but it will be a tough road ahead without being able to take any excersize in unless I go to the gym. can't put anything like an excersize bike in the basement cause they hard everything else and no room for the things I want. Mom falls over it and then straight out blames me for her falling (no filters about it, not her ever) cause I wanted to loose weight and have the bike where it is so I can use....

Hi Nail! There seems to be always something that gets in the way just when we want to be fit and healthy. I need to find a concrete solution.

My arms are not big, they are very thiny. I wonder what exactly is big according to you. It's very hard to believe that only 2 weeks not at the gym will change your arms the way you say. It's also impossible to get slimmer arms withing 2 weeks gym (most people only go once a week). It takes way longer. Might be you also changed your lifestyle, the food you eat during these 2 weeks? Since exersise you Always have if it comes to your arms. You are Always using them, lifting your shoppings, laundry, etc etc. Even before you go to bed or get out, in a hectic life you can lift things with your arms or make push ups. Nobody needs a gym for that. If you go to the gym and excersise probably you work at the muscles of your arms. If they get "bigger" now (your arms) it means the muscles kind of collaps (hang out). Usually with a lot of practising this happens and your arms should get thicker since muscles are bigger as fat and also you should gain weight if you excersise a lot since muscles are heavier as fat also.

Hi WakeUp! It is different when you have your arm exercises in the gym because you have all the right equipment there. I don't get to carry a lot of heavy stuff on a regular basis so I really need to lift weights to firm and tone my arms which have become flabby. I did get to see results after 3 months because I am quite serious with my routines.

My arms are a bit big, unfortunately. But they are not my biggest concern. I'm not a skinny person to begin with but after I started taking these birth control pills, I've gained an uncanncy amount of weight (most to my belly), and I have to get rid of that. It's the worst when I gain plus weight (like 10 kilo-ish), and it's not my own fault. But I now am gonna work out more.

I have a suggestion for you: Put a set of weights in each room. Whenever you enter the kitchen, just do about 6 tricep reps, when you enter the bathroom, do 6 or more bicep reps, etc. For every room, and exercise, as much as you feel, but it should be short. At the end of the day, you will have done much in the way of keeping your arms in shape, spending little effort and time in the matter.

Hi, thanks for your question so that i think over and over, it seems quite long time that I did not do the excersize and go to the gym, do yogo or related sports. Recently I always feel painful from my neck and my shoulder as i sit day and day in front of the computer, until now i realize that i need to do some sports to change the present situation and make myself healthy again, thanks, dear.
