I have just got a new job in nightshifts and i get my sleep during daytime, i have to help sneding my kids to school before i can get my sleep and the rest of the chores are taken cared by my husband. I know that my body is still adjusting to the recent shift of sleep schedule, i even got sick during the first 2 weeks on the job. Now i feel a little better, a little adjusted somehow, i take vitamins and i get 5-6 hours of sleep everyday. Before i go to bed i drink hot milk and eat my breakfast. Guys, can you suggest foods to eat to better improve my health because i seem to gain weight and my belly is really getting bigger, i am much worried about this.

I would eat plenty of fruits and vegetables first of all. I would also drink lemon water at least three glasses a day. That is what I believe has helped me maintain my weight. The other thing is walking. Walking to lose weight is the best exercise. Try walking 10,000 steps a day and you will see the weight fall off. I just don't know if you have the time to walk 10,000 steps a day. When I get up in the morning I put on my pedometer and its on me all day. If I walk 6,000 in one day I'm good but when I do the 10,000 I'm super happy.

i used to love walking going to and pro my kids school and i really like the feeling of sweat dropping off my body and face..i love those days but now i could not afford to walk, since my husband takes care of sending and fetching the kids. About the fruits and veggies for daily food intake, i will try to increase on that too, hopefully i get used to it.

God has given us night to take rest. As such, we must take adequate rest and after wake up we get full energy to work. Without rest, if you work, at one stage our body gets exhausted and our brain needs oxygen. When we sleep, then our relax and brain get enough oxygen. Have a nice weekend.

I think if you going to get less sleep weight will rise up that is what is happening to me now days. I am working day and night and sleeping 4 to 5 hours and eating whatever i get this is bad. Well to lose fat on your belly, you start eating 2 boiled egg whites every morning for breakfast that really helps.

If you worried about your body fat, you might want to exercise a bit, or eat healthier. I used to go to bed late at weekend, and my mom totally against it. She advised me that I should get some sleep in a normal hours, and I might get big belly according to the newspaper column as she said. So, I guess that something have to do with abnormal sleep hours. I guess once you get used to it, it might not get worse. I hope that you can find a recipe to help your sleep better and not getting too fat.

I would ask you to find some time for practices which could make your body fit. I am quite impressed with it. I find that exercises had worked on me which reduced my body and my weight a lot.

First of all try to drink lot of water to help detoxify your system. It will make you feel full and avoid over eating. Avoid rice and plain flour or items made from it. Instead you can have brown pasta, brown rice or brown bread. In between meals sip green tea, herbal tea or fresh fruit juices with honey. Avoid white sugar as much as you can. Have fresh fruit salad and cornflakes in breakfast. Try to do meditation everyday, it will help you to cope off with stress which is a major reason behind weight loss. All the best :) !!
