I think this is a nifty idea a tool used daily in the class room that now has a second function to be a bullet proof shield against an attacker. However, I think depending on how the building is built may perhaps stop bullets from traveling thru walls as well as people. Do you think this is a good idea to start putting this type of technology in use due to the violence in schools? http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/01/22/bulletproof-white-boards-classrooms/1853999/

I think it is a good idea but it will cost in my eyes. And for the few incidents that has recently happened. You could see the murderer really wanted to harm civilians. So if that was his purpose then just having a bullet proof board wont stop the person in coming into the classroom and still moving the board and doing any harm to be done. I think the best way would be if that bullet proof board could also be a door to a safe room. Then that would make more sense.

I don't know about this... It looks a little awkward, and unless the teacher uses it to investigate shots in another classroom, I don't think it would do much good should someone start shooting randomly. But good on the inventor for trying to help.
