My daughter has very faint freckles on her nose but for some reason she doesn't like them and refuses to admit she has freckles. Yesterday I was looking at her face and told her she had them and she told me it was dirt. So to play along I tried to wash it off and I told her it wasn't coming off cause its freckles. She told me that when she was a baby she got really strong glue stuck there and then dirt stuck to her nose and it hasn't come off since. She will not admit to the few little freckles on her nose.

How cute is that? How old is she?
I didn't like my freckles when I was growing up, either. (They weren't the cute kind.) My mom got me some fade cream but it didn't do any good.

I like her attitude. You see she is going to grow strong tomorrow when she grows up. When she will prove you wrong that no they are her freckles, they just that glue that was stuck in her childhood and then dirt got stuck and now it is coming off, this makes a point that tomorrow she is not going to listen to anyone who will try to prove her wrong. She will make a very smart and clear statement where the person standing before her won't have any answers to give back but just to hold the fist in his mouth.

Oh my... used strong glue, and then dirt stuck to her face instead of freckles. This is cute. I have never heard this one before. Freckles are cute on kids. Why is she not wanting to admit she has them?

She's so cute I guess imagining her reaction and the way she defend herself -hehehe.
Kids are too smart nowadays and they think they are smarter than us (parents)
I like it when kids give funny answer and those are moments that worth to cherish

I think it's a serious matter and you should not keep on arguing with your daughter. You should consult a skin specialist as soon as possible because it may convert into a mark when she will grow older.

First of all I'm to arguIng with my child. We are playing around and being silly. Second of all a few light freckles on her face is not a skin condition. Where I need to rush her to the hospital.

I like to commend you for saying the truth to your daughter (very witty little one). yes she must learn to admit that because it will come a time when someone will mention that to her and she must accept the fact that she has really freckles. Play along with her but make her realize that those are freckles and it is okay to have freckles. nothing bad about it.
