Hard times teach us to be Humble

Lately i saw so many talking about how life can be even in our bad times. And reading those discussion topics, makes me feel so sunken in heart and weak in knees. And then i smile. I look back what all i have lost in my life apart from bad relations and those bad times. I lost a laugh with someone who is near me. When i was waiting for those fake friends to be good to me, i lost someone around in my family waiting for me to talk to them. When i saw that fake partner who just left me leaving my hand in the middle of no where, i never saw my sister who took care of me like a mother. Just for everyone out here, who are sad today because they have lost something precious, or not achieving that one aim or goal, or just lost someone so lovable in their lives, or are just upset taking up some sadness in their hearts...Do just one thing, look up just open your hearts. There are many people around you who are true by heart just recognize them. Walk up to them, don't ignore them because you see them everyday and you know you are still going to see them tomorrow and you know they are always there to handle up your anger, sadness and lend their shoulder for you to cry on. Don't ignore them, they are the only one real thing you own today. A hug is enough for them to realize that yes you care. Hug for everyone my fellows whom i have known, or hurt them unknowingly in past few days.

Difficulties and challenges in life have a way of humanizing people. Yes, we sort of become humble in adversity. But humility should be coupled with inner strength to not give up and keep on going no matter what. Times are hard and getting harder for many of us and it is good to know that there are still people who have their hearts in the right place.

Hard times do teach us many things and make us more strong. The only thing is we should be thinking positive. Yes we should care for those who care for us and forget and flush who leave us in our hard times. I love and care for my younger brother who is there for me and always standing there with me. He obeys me always and now a days he is everything to me. His needs and deeds are most important to me.

Hard times really do teach us to be humble. We don't even realize how much we can learn until we face difficult situations. I continue to learn a lot from the things that I go through in my life. Recently we have had a lot of financial issues come up so now I really appreciate the importance of having a savings. And now I will continue to work at saving my earnings.

I wonder what a hard time has to do with being humble? Also there are plenty of people who live alone, who do not have family, a mother, brother, sister or neighbour who is Always there for them, who does take care of them. Always being humble is breaking one down also. It's better not Always to get more and more humble but to fight for what you want. To embrace yourself, hug yourself, love yourself before you start to invest in someone else.. likely a person who might be fake or dump you. But yes I do agree that if you get focused to much you will probably not see those people close to you/living around you who are willing to help you out. This can even be a stranger.

In the generation i am living now, HUMBLENESS is something i see seldom. So i think when we experience a HARD TIME we realize that people who are helping us are actually those to whom we were never HUMBLE. I hope you get what i wanted to say

Hard times is when a person embraces the essence of survival and to survive you need to be humble to solicit support. A long journey of hardships will trained you to be humble and is sometimes become used to it. If a person survived on the long lines of hardship then definitely he will become stronger and stronger until then he will learned and win back his smile. The hardest thing is when the person you taught of holding you in your time of hardship is no longer around for most of them are afraid to be a part of your problems as saying says if you want to improve don't go with losers for you will end loser too.

I totally agree with you. Hard times are the most meaningful times. It is what people call experience. Tough times teaches us the power of our reactions. If one can think wisely in their hard times, they are sure to grow a better individual. Many people get depressed or annoying in hard times. They feel it like failure. But they quite don't understand that it is not a failure but a learning, when you face a problem. Every problem has a solution & there is always good time waiting after a hard trying. Our reactions drive the way we take forward the time. If someone reacts with anger, then he/she is sure to regret it later. But you learn by lessons & experiences. I too had several such instances when instant reaction was that of anger. But later I realized that I should have been calm & thought over before reacting. Life is too short to be angry at someone. Forgive others, be calm, think & then react, open your hearts, spread joy & cheer - keep smiling. Life is all about staying happy & living to the fullest :-)
